Future Ragamuffins must be teachable and enthusiastic, which means being ready to learn and grow! Once we’ve got that settled, we move on to The Interview!

Prospective members are granted an interview accompanied by a parent, where they are given the opportunity to show off their singing ability, ask questions, and discuss the commitment involved. Once you’re past that point…then it’s time to become an official Ragamuffin!

Cost of Membership:

• $80 per month
• (or 4 two hour sessions)
• Scholarships are given to a child who has the desire yet lacks the resources!

Ragamuffin Theatre and Company is a non-profit organization dedicated to training up young people in all areas of the performing arts. Director, Kathleen Whittaker who began the program in September of 2000, believes in the potential of every willing child. “My goal is to help each member discover and develop their God given talents, so that they can experience the joy that comes from doing what they were created to do!”

Weekly training sessions provide the time needed to build a foundation in drama, mime, dance, and music. Members receive vocal instruction as a group and individually, and are given opportunities throughout the year to demonstrate their growing skills.
